cocoatel @earprotection ok thanks. I am confused about the size and measurements. Is the jacket a size 12 or a size 16? I wear a size 12 but typically the pit to pit measurement for a fitted size 12 jacket is 19” . I checked with one of my jackets to confirm.

cocoatel An American 12 would be a UK 16 or 42/43 EU. Does the jacket have an EU size marked? Thanks!

earprotection @cocoatel 16. Louis Feraud jacket worn over a light blouse or sweater, gives you room to breathe. I am size 12-14 and had a skirt to match which was sold. Soft wool, fully lined, gold buttons, very elegant. I had it cleaned and size may have decreased as it is pure wool. Made in Germany.

earprotection @cocoatel I understand your concern. Label is marked UK 20, American 18. I washed the jacket and size reduced. It is cleaned but could use a pressing. I’m size 12-14 and it fits beautifully. I paid 400 for the suit. Skirt fit perfectly. Jacket will be comfortable over a blouse or sweater for American Size 12-14. I did advertise size 12 as it fits me.
