I scrubbed interior, so is clean but has stains. See pictures. Leather handles & bottom have been rehydrated. Bottom has water stains so I evened the tone with dye. Tabs to hold handles have edge coat and sealer. Purchased this piece to refurbish and to paint Vachetta leather but some family liked the dark monogram with the darker leather without paint .
