This is a black Epi Madeleine PM purchased from Louis Vuitton Roosevelt Field in November 2007. I don’t have the original box or dust bag. This is genuine and a gorgeous bag. ZIPPER: Due to this being a bag from 2007, it needed a repair to the zipper because the fabric ripped (a known issue with this bag if you look at some other preloved listings), and I took it to Artbag in NYC who replaced it., Artbag did a great job aesthetically but not functionally and the zipper IS NOT FULLY OPERATIONAL. It works about 40-50% of the time, on a good day, if you zipper it very slowly, but the rest of the time, the zipper pops open and is frustrating to use. As a result, the bag will likely need to be used open top. I would probably not recommend a further zipper replacement, and I don't think Louis Vuitton will repair it because the zipper is not original. A possible solution would be a bag organizer inside with a zip top, which can likely be obtained from Amazon for $10-20, or custom made from Etsy for a bit more. This bag is in fair to good condition, it has been well loved over many years, and does have scratches, dings, minor stains on the interior, and the shoulder handles are a bit stretched. Since it's Epi leather, I still think she looks GREAT and would make a great addition to a collection. She is great for evening wear as well as casual, and is east/west style, which is my favorite.
