teresaraerae @mireias These tags are dyed/customized aftermarket, so they’re originally vachetta/cowhide colored. Generally the process starts w the tag being sanded, a deglazer is applied, leather is lightly moistened, a leather dye is applied using a sponge, brush or airbrush depending on the color and/or design, a top coat & finally a leather protectant is applied.

teresaraerae @mireias I have a certification from HBS in luxury handbag restoration, so all of the products I use on these tags are from there, so they’re specifically meant for handbags or small leather goods.
