The bag is authentic and in excellent condition. I used the bag for a couple of times, but it has been kept inside its cloth cover slip. I will ship the item with the bag and slip bag only. The bag is clean, no damage, odor free, and very well taken care of. The plastic cover is not attached to the front lock (I used it) and it has a few tiny scratches on the lock, that a little buffing should fix. I purchased the bag, brand new on January 2017 from a Louis Vuitton store. Date Code: SD2137
