johnnyu5150 @mkassouf That’s because you’re not looking at the date code. The receipt is right there in the background. With the exception of that early 1900s trunk, I’m 120% positive everything that I have is real because I have every receipt. On that key ring, I believe the code you would be looking for would be the one next to it

That caused me to then look at some other keychains that I have as well. They all have strange numbers that are part of the usual country code list, for instance one is CX

mkassouf @johnnyu5150 Fj is not a valid country code and the new key charms I have purchased have a date code on them along with the manufacturing number. I have an older one that doesn’t have a code but it comes with box and dust bag and it was purchased in person in the store. They used to not put the dare code on the older ones. CX is a valid date code. It’s for Italy. I’m not trying to argue I promise! 🙏😀 just trying to help.

I am very well versed with LV also. I have an extensive collection, purchased new by me with exceptional of a couple of pieces.

mkassouf @johnnyu5150 the M number on the rounded ring as part of the key chain is the manufacturing number, the date is the the smaller number like the Fj etc ! I know that’s the date code for sure! It’s just weird. I’m not saying it’s not authentic but it’s strange

welltraveledb @johnnyu5150 don’t listen to @mkassouf she’s often wrong. FJ is a valid country code for charms and keychains. 2 seconds of search shows it on contourusa website. It’s also on one of my new keychains.
