@couchdog hi, it doesn’t. The absence of a date code does not mean that the bag isn’t authentic. I read online that in 2021, date codes have been removed, in favor of microchips embedded discreetly in LV products.

Thank you for replying, since there was no date associated with this purse I did not know it was made in or after 2021. I am interested but as you said it has a microchip in it in which is very hard to authenticate unless it is taken to a LV store where they can scan it.
According to the LV store I visited yesterday they will not scan a purse unless it was purchased through a retail LV store. I would like to purchase but if I spend the money on it I feel it needs professional authentication.
