tkrenee @laurelwindsor they are very similar as they are in the “forest cat” family like Maine coons and Norwegians. Body and face structure is different. I heard a judge describe that Norwegians are based on triangles, Coons on rectangles and Siberians on ovals. They have the lowest fel d1 (protein in a cat body secretions that causes allergy) of any cat breed…. much, much lower. Seems crazy for a triple coated breed until you realize allergy has nothing to do with the amount of hair.
