Lovely 1960 Era Cocktail or Prom Dress Apricot Satin White Lace Size 10

Lovely 1960 era cocktail or prom dress in apricot satin and overlaid white lace. Designed by Lee Claire New York. It has a scoop neckline at the front. It is sleeveless. A 2 1/2" wide cream gros grain ribbon circles the waist and attaches with hook/eyes under the front bow. The hem is in the lace with a scallop finish. The skirt is mildly bouffant. The back has a deeper plunge at 9" from the nape leading to a a 14" metal zipper (note we could not close the dress on our model). Under the satin skirt is a tulle underskirt which closes with hooks/eyes (also note that brings the tulle in contact with the body--slip advised). This carries union tag in addition to Lee Claire. Size: tag says size 10. The following measurements are approximate and taken lying flat and doubled. Bust-36; 25" waist (bow is also 25" long); 29" torso; 17" armhole; 44 1/2" long to lace hem.
