Lovely Artisan Crafted Jasper Ring + Earring Set

This was crafted by an Afghan man with an incredible story of fleeing his country under the Taliban. He is currently a professor at my alma mater. He learned the craft of jewelry making from his father, who also learned from his father. He uses Jasper natural to his homeland and incorporates an interesting dying process which creates beautiful stones. This set is dyed Jasper set in sterling silver. The earrings have an unidentified natural blue stone as the post and dangling 3/4" dyed jasper cabachon stones set in sterling silver. The ring is size 7.75 (18mm diameter) and has a matching 3/4" cabachon set in sterling. I have to admit, I just loved this man so much I wanted to buy lots of stuff fro him. (Yeah, it's a problem. But a problem that gives me lots to sell on Poshmark - haha.) Of all my purchases, I just don't seem to wear this so I'd like to pass this along to someone else for a turn. I paid $80 for the set. Probably worn once or twice.
