@krystalavender1 hello! I would say it has more of a shirt- waist fit, because the coat and buttons gather in the waist. With a light sweater underneath, it buttons up comfortably. To make sure it would fit, I would look at the measurements, especially the waist! Wouldn't want you to be with jacket that doesn't fit quite right. I am 5'1 and when the jacket is on, it falls right above the knee. Hope this helps!!
