Lovely Spring Summer Hat in Cream Tone Pleated Brim Swag Flowers

Lovely example of a mid-century spring or summer hat. In cream tone fabric, it has a pleated 3" brim above which is poised the 9" swag of white flowers. The crown is slightly domed. A champagne tone velvet band circles the crown and forms a bow at each side of the swag. A faux pearl tipped hat pin resides at the back (caution! its sharp end is sticking out). The body of the hat sits on a platform. No maker label, but the original owner name is written on the inside of the brim (see pic). Size: 19" inner band circumference measured on the platform; 3" wide brim front, 2" at back; 13" wingspan front to back; 14" wingspan side to side. Condition: good vintage--Note--very light nickel size change in color at very top of hat--may not be able to discern in the pics.
