Lowe Alpine Waterproof Insulated Jacket - Black/Red, S

This is a SAMPLE from Lowe Alpine’s Autumn/Winter line in 2014 - just before they were absorbed by Rab Equipment. Most people don’t appreciate Lowe Alpine the way I do, but their clothing line was discontinued to avoid competition with Rab - who inherited Lowe’s technology, and is still using it their outerwear. Synthetic insulation (100% polyester). Dobby woven, ripstop outer (100% Nylon). Red interior lining is high quality, air soft polyester. 510g. Waterproofing membrane is Lowe Alpine’s proprietary Triplepoint XC; which is basically eVent (my absolute favorite). I tested it by putting my arm in the sleeve and leaving it under the running faucet for awhile. No water got through, even though the outside of the sleeve was drenched. Triplepoint ceramic yarn coating is used in place of DWR treatment. If you want more water beading on the surface, you can treat with Nikwax. This jacket is in excellent condition and is super clean. The only wear is some scuffing on the stretchy inset gore on one sleeve (pictured). Fully seam sealed for complete waterproof protection. Removable, adjustable hood with wire brim. Two welded zip hand pockets. Adjustable cuffs with touch-fasten straps, and stretchy gore. Interior zip pocket. Interior mesh pocket. Drawcord hem, with toggles at each side.
