Lucerna white duchess-satin gown, Max Mara Bridal 2020 Sample

Selling sample of the Lucerna gown from Max Mara Bridal 2020 collection. It was sample size (around US dress size 2) and professionally hemmed for total height of 5'8.5." The bust size would fit btw 32 B/C-34 A/B. Vendor description: Lucerna gown from Max Mara Bridal 2020 features a sculptural silhouette, which flares out at the sides and has a graceful train at the back. This long sleeveless couture style dress is made from double layer duchesse satin silk and has a sculptural effect, with inset side pockets. The wide silhouette with offset back creates a soft tail at the back that follows the movements of the body. --- This wonderful gown was purchased at a sample sale for my wedding--I fell in love with it at first sight mainly for its pockets, which reminded me of Gemma Chan's similarly tented Valentino dress with pockets in which she put cookies. On this particular sample, there are no labels on the dress. Also, my wedding ceremony was rescheduled several times due to the pandemic and when it finally happened, I was 34 weeks pregnant(!)...so if you are not immensely pregnant you can expect the dress to look a lot more like on the model on you--ie train will drape more in back bc belly is not pulling fabric forward. But it's beautiful both ways! I was lucky the dress worked amazingly pregnant or not. While not officially a maternity dress, if you are expecting and unsure of your size for your wedding day, this may perfect for you too!
