Lucien Neuquelman Brunette Pottery Lady in Black & Yellow Figurine Vtg MCM Paris France Majolica
Lucien Neuquelman (1909-1988), famous French painter and ceramist from Paris. Neuquelman attended the School of Fine Arts of Toulon as well as The Grande Chaumière Academy (Académie de la Grande Chaumiere) in Paris in 1930. This brunette pottery lady is formally dressed in a black and yellow finely detailed in floral and a lace pattern imprinted dress and is holding a pink flower. She stands about 10.5 inches tall.
This piece does not have any cracks or chips. The piece does have some rough edges, but this is not damage, it is the style of pottery and is how the figurines are made.
Beautifully impressive Mid-Century Modern, Vintage Majolica collective piece.
