margosatx I'm not sure if it's silver or silver/gold plate. The hooks are silver and the actual earrings look like silver plate to me. I tried cleaning them with micellar cleansing water so as not to damage the stones but it didn't do much...I just got some gentle jewelry cleanser and will clean them again. Very pretty earrings-I would keep them but I need to purge!!
