@emilygripentrog hi there! To answer your question: no, this particular fabric does not have a stretchy material. That being said, when I put on the dress, the dress is flowy around my waist. The “bodice” looking area of the dress in the photos hits/ends around my ribs, just before my waist. My ribs measure 25.5” inches and it fits comfortably but it will fit snug in the same area if your ribs are larger than 27” in my opinion.

@emilygripentrog Your height my play a role in where this part of the dress lays on your torso - but the shoulder straps are bow ties with also give you flexibility regarding how high/low you want the dress to sit on you.
