We lost a basketball LEGEND yesterday 1/26/20 + two AMAZING human beings Kobe & Gianna Bryant. The world is devastated! Kobe was that guy! Hes my son Alex's fave player since he was little..an inspiration 4 him to play the sport he loves. I had the pleasure & honor of meeting him last summer when I worked the US OPEN. He walked thru the stadium & I yelled "Mambas in the house" he gave me that beautiful smile. As a mom it hurts to know that he had to feel the pain of his baby being with him🙏😭

richmondhillmom @zephyrdawn So true Cheryl! This is not just a loss for basketball, it's a loss for the world because Kobe was a wonderful human being & amazing father! Like many of our youth, my son plays basketball bc he was inspired by him. His daughter Gigi was a gr8 athlete like her dad. Glad I had a chance to meet him....breaks my heart💔😥

cruellad62 @richmondhillmom I never met him, but he was a great inspiration and such an inspiration to young people everywhere. My 3 boys grew up absolutely worshiping him, basketball was their game because of him, they all strived to be like him. My youngest was the smallest on the team but had a mean 3 pointer like Kobe, every time he played he was chosen because of his mean 3 pointer even though he was the smallest player. Kobe was a gift taken far too soon.....
