I fixed by simply scratching the fabric & the threads went back to where they should be. When I looked again to photograph it I couldn't find it which to me shows that it isn't a major issue. I would, however, imagine that could happen other places on the scarf, but it has never been worn so I don't know. Unikko pattern is 60 years old this year!
