MATTA NY Yamini Rainbow Dress Dove Lurex Size Medium This stunner is a classic Matta NY signature vintage-inspired design called Yamini. They often offer the Yamini Dress now and again in different weighted fabrics and textures. This one is from a summer 2019, I think, and it's in a 100% cotton gauze. This Yamini Rainbow is a tiered long-sleeved maxi dress in a chic neutral Dove Gray color with mesmerizing rainbow striped metallic threading throughout. The Dove color is a really unusual neutral that's simply gorgeous with tanned skin. The voluminous skirt is incredible when you spin. It secures with double tie front closure and buttons at the cuffs. The rainbow lurex is woven beautifully into the gauze so it's not itchy and irritating to the skin. Really keeps you cool during the summer as it shades you in a sheer breezy cotton that is light and breathable. The rainbow colors will sparkle in the dappled sunlight and make you smile. Wear with espadrilles, sun hat, bangles...so glamorous in that understated 1970s way. Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry Made in India Fits true to size. Great preowned condition with one flaw to note--about an inch of stitching has come undone at back on the first tier seam. See last two pictures. I'll leave it up to the new owner to tuck the fabric back under the seam and stitch it into place. It should be unnoticeable after the fix. Price reflects this flaw. Otherwise, great preowned condition.
