M.C. Pavone Signed (Paris France) Blue & Clear Galalith Fish Bowl Pin/Brooch

This is an adorable brooch by French designer Marie-Christine Pavone. I don't know how old this brooch is, but I know I owned it in 2010 and purchased it second-hand from someone else. The fish bowls are hard to come by. Pavone began business in Paris in the 1980s, but I cannot determine an exact year, so I can't confirm if this is authentic vintage. Every piece was made from Galalith and is individual - no two are alike! This fish bowl has a silvery-blue-gray mosaic fish with a blue-gray water stripe in the back. The colors are more "blue-gray" than the photos show. This piece measures 2 1/4" across x 1 3/4" tall. It has the original pin closure that works perfectly. Fish and all bubbles are firmly attached. Signed on the back! In excellent, well-stored condition! Items are from my collections. I live in a smoke-free, kitty-friendly home. I'm reducing my collections to free up space in my house, ha!
