MCM 1950s West Bend Penguin Chrome Silver & Bakelite Ice Bucket

MCM 1950s West Bend Penguin Chrome Silver & Bakelite Ice Bucket Mirrored chrome metal exterior, stainless steel interior with dark brown Bakelite handles and knob. Four embossed penguins follow each other around each side of the body. Designed to insulate hot or cold foods but mostly used as an ice bucket. Ralph N. Kircher patented the design in 1941 but was not produced until the 1950's by the West Bend Company in Wisconsin, USA. + Dimensions: 10ʺW × 8.25ʺD × 8ʺH + Overall good vintage condition, some wear and rust on the inside rim (see photos for details), perfectly functional.
