Amazing reproduction of the iconic Mexican cultural artifact, the Aztec sun stone (piedra del sol, aka Aztec calendar or sun dial) by Polish metallurgist turned artist, Zarebski, who is known for developing the crushed *malachite polyresin used to recreate ancient Latin American works into decorative pieces in the 1960s-1970s. "Original Zarebski" is inscribed on top edge of this gorgeously detailed item. It is backed w/black velvet & has original hanging hardware.
