MCM Brass Gazelle Wood Base Stand Art Deco Style 1960 San Pacific Antelope Korea

Iconic mid century modern design. Vintage brass gazelle / ibex / antelope on a wood lacquer base with a brass inset along the edge of the base top. This has more of a bronze patina in person, the color is more accurate in the main photo but the second one shows how it looks under a spotlight (I have not polished it I leave that up to whomever purchases it because I know some people prefer the patinized look.) This piece is unmarked but I found an identical one which had the original label on the base which said "San Pacific/San Francisco / Made in Korea" dating this piece to the 1960s. I do not know if it is solid brass or not. Condition*: Very good but there are condition issues. There is some discoloration / tarnish on the brass, typical for age. This may or may not polish out depending on it it is solid brass or not. There are several chips in the lacquer along the base edge which I would touch up for my own use. Size: base is 8" l x 2" d, figure is 8" h Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is.
