MCM Sterling China by Russel Wright Ripe Apricot Color One 10" Dinner Plate

In excellent preowned conditions, one MCM Sterling China by Russel Wright Ripe Apricot Color Dinner Plate circa 1950's. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, diametar is 10". The glaze is a lightly matted on the eating surface, without obvious scratching, which I tried to capture in the photos. Only one of the dishes has a spot on the back footing where the glaze is a bit thinner, shown on the fourth photo. On the back of each plate there are also the three unglazed spots where the forks were holding them during the semi automated glazing process. The color is a darker orange brown with some lighter sparkle. Casual China is a defining Mid-Century Design - the durable ceramic materials reflect the shift in concerns for families for durability that defied mishaps in the kitchen - advertising included young children unloading the dishwasher.
