MEASUREMENT GUIDE - Vintage Retro Dress - Top - Skirt - Jacket - Pants - Shorts 

Hello Gorgeous! Wondering if something you see in my shop will fit you? Unfortunately sizes are not standardized in the clothing industry & vintage sizes are very different than modern sizes. For example a vintage size 12 could fit a modern size 4. I've seen it happen. So what's a girl to do? Knowing the item's measurements is a good place to start, which is why I include detailed measurements in all my listings. Poshmark does not accept returns for fit issues (it's in their terms), so it's important to have a good idea how something will fit you before you check out. Luckily I've put together a quick & easy step-by-step guide to help you take your measurements. All you need is a measuring tape, pen/pencil & paper. If you have a friend to help with some of the trickier ones so much the better, if not you can get a pretty good idea by measuring a piece of clothing that fits well & is a similar style to the one you're considering buying. ~IMPORTANT NOTE~ This guide is based on how *I* take measurements on my items. Other sellers may have different methods that don't necessarily align with this guide. Please take that into account when purchasing from another shop.
