My Arnold lived his first three years as a BAIT DOG, and he has scars all over his face and body. The first few months it was hard to look at him without crying. They shaved his teeth down so that he couldn’t fight back to protect himself... altho he is a licker, not a fighter. He rescued me on 4/30/20.💜💙. TALK ABOUT IT ... LEARN ABOUT IT ... @shitzkascloset I actually work with a pitbull rescue in New York “Amsterdog” as well as craig from New York billy crew .. I adore these poor souls that only want love .. the scars give her character

@shitzkascloset years ago when michale Vic dogs where taken I had the pro algae of working with one of the females he used for breeding .. all her teeth were ripped out and she was so scared when a person tried to approach her she peed herself .. she lived till she was 15 loved and adored by her adopters she had a heart of gold that poor baby

AMEN!!!!!!! I have had many a rescue pit in our home since my mom runs a non profit animal rescue and these lovable dogs sometimes get the short of the stick thanks to some horrible humans out there!

OMG I love Arnold !!!! I rescued my Hank he was pup less than 2 lbs they used him for a bait dog and weighed him down with heavy chain’s and discarded him on a sewer grate to die he was so small and still should have been with his mother they ended up raiding several known dog fighting homes and took several hundred dogs of all ages and made several arrests .

Hank is a brindle and 3 and a half years later he’s is a beautiful healthy and happy sweet Angel. He’s such as blessing. All my babies are rescues. My Hank is so sweet though it’s a shame the way the media and people view them historically they are not only one of the most loyal dogs you could own but are so sweet and love everyone!

I had to work with Hank extensively to trust anyone other than me but he has come so far . It’s so funny because I have a 5 lb Chihuahua mix and then my 85lb Hank lol she thinks she’s huge and he is like a lap dog lol. Oh I love other dog rescue people and dog lovers .

@mfitzgerald2980 when I was in Boston I rescued… had 3 pups and 13 special needs kitties at once!! They all passed on to rainbow bridge and then I moved to Florida and adopted Arnold. 🐶👩🏻. It took him ~6 mos to wag his tail and what seemed like forever to look me in the eyes.

How do you find out about it so you can rescue one? My daughter had one who was in TERRIBLE shape from being a bait dog. He was the sweetest boy ever and sadly passed away last month. But they had many years to give him all the love they could-and he gave them more!! But they found him by accident so idk how to find them.

@klevfam mist shelters sadly have pitties for adoption that were bait dogs in a previous life. Arnold was a Dolly’s Dream dog… which you can google to learn more about bait dogs for adoption. He was from a rescue in Jupiter FL… called Furry Friends. 💜💙
