Hi, My name is actually Mary Ann, but since I was a baby, my father called me "Little Annie Rooney" so I have been called ROONEY ever since and I love it. I'm 69 years young and retired. The pictures above are of me and my children. And dad used to sing "Little Annie Rooney she's my sweetheart" to me all the time especially if I feeling blue it made me smile. And as for that HOTTIE I've loved him for 17 years now and I have plans for the next 17, he is also a sweet man, not just a HOTTIE!!!!

Do you mind if I ask if he is your second marriage? I was married first time for ten years then he left me for my best friend. On August 5th I will be married 30 years! My husband asked if he could get a bike and I said yes along as it looks good sitting in my living room! I almost lost my son on his and I can't imagine losing him on one! But ladies it is good husbands are not allowed on here we might lose them to others Poshers searching for good husbands!

I understand how you feel about the riding and I' m not going to say there isn't some fear, but most cyclist will tell you fear is a big factor in being a good rider.ππ

@rooney52 I have to tell you I was married at 17 a junior in high school in 1971.
My daughter was 9 and my son was 5. I was married 10 yrs. I had decided I was going to stay single forever until I went to work with his sister then she asked me for my number she said "either you will love him or hate men altogether!" Well we met two weeks later on May 11th and was married August 5th which is 30 yrs ago! I guess I loved him!

@klutterkeeper ππ·πI think sales are slow for everyone right now, don't despair and don't cut your prices, your pieces are defiantly worth what you are asking, it's just because they are vintage some of the younger POSHERS don't recognize the names and realize the value that is still in these vintage pieces a lot of the costume jewelry today will not prevail in the test of time that most of these pieces have, and still be as sturdy and beautiful. ππ·π

Love your closet! You should think about selling your vintage jewels on ETSy! It's easy to set up shop, they don't charge fees like here only listing fees of 20 cents per item for 4 months! But you could def get higher prices there! Just a thought! I have an apron shop there since '09! Good luck!
