It's quite "heavy" and durable in its weight. It comes with a detachable hood (I showed it here with the hood on just for photo ease sake). The jacket has a zipper as well as button front closure. There is a drawstring waist which I never tied as I like it more loosely fitting. The color is pretty closing matching to the photos of the actual jacket (hard to do but I tried my best for authenticity).
