nlas @lilredtammy Hi! The waist measures 16 inches across. The jean has stretch to it so it stretches to 17 inches. I'm always unsure whether or not it's a front rise or a back rise so I measure both. The front rise is 8 1/2 inches and the back rise is 12 1/2 inches. LOVE these jeans- just don't fit me the same anymore. 😪
