MERE Mystery Shoes Size 8

There used to be a secret shoe store way downtown in NYC that only the lucky people knew about. Women for years kept it a secret. My mother's friend would walk in with the most gorgeous shoes and until a friend slipped up, we never knew where they came from. The owner would watch to make sure we only bought one size, as we approached the counter with 10-15 pairs, to ensure we weren't reselling them. They had everything, from Prada and Sergio Rossi to Manolo's and usually at really discounted prices. I have shoes too beautiful to even list and I could almost encase them in glass. I cried the day it closed. Anyway, these were from that shoe store and they don't have a size on them other than the 8 someone wrote on the bottom of both of them. They are definitely a leather sole and have an interesting canvas detail and the label on one show says Mere. I recall they were a last pair and I got them off the last pair shelf and they were retailing back before Y2K at well over $200, but I can't find them on the internet. I remember buying them and I got a few wears out of them. They are very comfy but times change and I seldom have a chance to wear these so I'm listing them for sale. They are definitely a size 8 because I'm a pretty true size 8 unless I was squeezing into something smaller back then
