It actually double buttons as under the black loop and knot catches in the front there are button holes and buttons hidden under it to secure top in place. The actual size in this has worn off. The best I can guess it is a women's large to XL and no more. Measures about: bust: underarm area across 24" for 50" total around. Length: back of neck down is 23-3/4".
