MINT CONDITION VINTAGE SARAH COVENTRY JET SET

Sarah Coventry brooches are highly collectible, and it's easy to see why! This is good quality vintage costume jewelry, maintaining all its perfect details and finishes after all these years. Sarah Coventry jewelry was produced from 1949 to 1984 in North America. Founded by Charles Stuart, a British immigrant, the name is a combination of his granddaughter Sarah, and his British city of origin, Coventry. This silver tone filagree metal brooch was made in Canada, and was part of the SC "Jet Set" collection from the 1970s. Measuring 1 1/2" wide, the domed openwork design of the brooch rises about 1/2" and is topped by a black resin cabochon. The reverse side of the brooch reveals the fine finishing that we expect to see in better quality costume jewelry, and has the SARACOV logo and Canada, the country of manufacture. The c-clasp is secure and working properly. Understated and elegant, this is a brooch that will be on frequent rotation in your wardrobe, particularly if you favour black and white classics!
