OBVIOUS FAKE SIGNS: A solid MK medallion, where the MK is not cut out to show the leather behind. Name plates that are not easy to read. Uneven stitching. Lining where the logo print is a different color than the material. Orange price tag. Please don't be suckered! Reach out for help if needed.

REAL MK: lining prints (either honeycomb print or Michael Kors name print) should be the same color as the fabric lining. The print will just be shinier, but not a different color. Older bags may have a solid cream color.

REAL MK: the round MK medallion will never be solid metal. The MK should be "cut out" to show the leather behind the symbol.

REAL MK: price tags are a light tan color. They are NEVER orange. You can get the UPC item code from the tag & look it up online. Most often fakes will have a code that matches a different bag entirely, or a code that doesn't exist. Look it up if possible!

@ndvoice You need to put one of these up for LV, also. There are SO MANY fake LV's on here right now. I can even spot them with my untrained eye. And people are unknowingly buying them! It's a shame!

@catladi49 seriously, it's insane! There are SO many fakes! LV would be harder to do in a couple photos. There are so many variables to authenticating (age, print, style, etc) I think I would need to write a book lol. I'm in the process of returning one that even fooled me....until it arrived. And the seller is being nasty about it, like I'm unreasonable for not wanting to pay $500 for a fake. 😳

@ndvoice That's crazy!! I see people selling fakes for 200-500! If I'm going to pay that much, I want a real bag! That lady that we were commenting on her purse blocked me. She sent me a nasty message then blocked. THEN she started following me! LOL! Crazy!

This is great. I am not a Michael Kors fan o used to like some of his all leather bags. True some of the older LVs are very hard to tell , however there some key things to look for such as stitching in rows of 5 a few more there's a few post on here.
