This colorful drawstring Mochila bag was made in Columbia by the Wayuu indigenous Latin Americans. Nicknamed “The people of the sun, sand and wind” these crafts are made by those who inhabit the desert peninsula of La Guajira, Colombia. In their small settlements, the woman of the Wayuu Tribes create these exquisite crocheted works known as Mochila Bags. Each bag is unique one of a kind, hand made bags with its own design. Bag is approximately 6” in diameter and about 7” high. Strap is 44” long. It can be worn as a cross body bag or over the shoulder.
