Madame Alexander Collectible Doll, ‘The Knave with Five of Spades,” • Alice in Wonderland Collection • 8 Inches • Circa 1997 • Style No. 813040 Condition: Excellent ———————————————————————————————— Carrying a brass paint pail, The Knave is out to paint the roses red for the tyrannical Queen of Hearts! He comes with his original registration card and wrist tag. The box is in excellent condition with little to no flaws. His hair has the original cut with the prominent front curl. His eyes open or close depending on the position of his body. He is dressed in a stunning 5 of Spades outfit, his back-worn cape sporting a diamond pattern embossed in the fabric with metallic gold edging and two front scallops resembling a collar. Underneath, there is a black & white striped "onesie" with a long leotard, the ornate royal purple exaggerated by puff sleeves in a thick brocade scatter print with gold accents. The Knave’s knicker-length pants are in a ‘Harlequin’ diamond pattern with a wide gold waistband and pant cuffs. At the very bottom, his shoes are shiny purple, accented with a black pom-pom.
