Presenting an exceptional find: Madame Grès Haute Couture pleated silk-jersey gown dating back to 1956. This gown is a rare treasure of fashion history, crafted with the level of skill and detail that rivals the highest couture today. The gown is made of chartreuse yellow silk jersey with vertical and horizontal pleats on the bust, encrusted and pleated arabesque panel wrapping around the front. Good to fair condition with small spots on bodice and hem, ripped lining mesh fabric. Like all Haute Couture pieces, this gown doesn't have a size label.
