Hello — so pretty. Is it genuine fur or synthetic on the hood?

@vermontposh Hi, Vermont posh
oh- a good question. I would think being made in Canada in the early 90’s it is real fur; but I need to confirm. I am vegetarian, so I appreciate the question! Like in Vermont, Saskatchewan and Manitoba get extremely cold. We would have -30 with wind chill 🥶
Are you in Vermont? Our daughter attended Middlebury. I am a New Englander originally.

Many in Sask and Manitoba wear fur to keep authentically warm. At least the Indigenous use every part of the animal they hunt- no waste. My husband is lawyer for Indigenous in the Canadian prairies. Great stories.

@vermontposh hi, again, I am 99% certain it is fox fur. Being made in Manitoba and trying to read other similar coats’ descriptions.
