Made in Mexico Mexican Sterling Silver Pin Brooch - Man Beside Cactus

Dating to the 1960s or so, may I offer this Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) Eagle 23 pin - brooch designed as a man standing beside a cactus. Height is 1-3/4"; width is 1-1/8". Weight is 11.1 grams. Safety catch at the back to hold the pinstem in place. Makers mark is A E within a heart shaped M. Unknown maker to me. A nicely made piece that just needs a light wash to take off some remaining pink polish residue - the p in was pretty black with tarnish when found.
