Color is dried maple. Good condition, gently used. Some faint scuffs and signs of wear (examples pictured), but still a ton of wonderful life left in these shoes. The soles have almost no signs of wear. These loafers are the perfect blend of classic silhouette paired with a more modern and versatile moderate lug sole. The stitching adds really nice detail. Absolutely love these loafers, and I get a ton of compliments on them. I just had to make room for a dressier pair in my closet for work. Still for sale on Madewell’s website. I had heel pads adhered to these loafers when I wore them, and some adhesive residue is still present on the inside of the heel area. The price reflects this, and this is EASILY solved by sticking some moleskin over the area on the heel on which the adhesive is still present. Or, you can order heel pads from Amazon for yourself and make these shoes even more comfy!
