Is there a slip layer inside the skirt? And does it go down to the hem or is it short? (some Madewell skirts I've found to be weird like this! )

@erica_bitt hi! It does have a slip layer. Honestly, this is such a well tailored skirt and it’s super high quality. The slip layer gives it shape but the linen material makes it feel cool even for summer. I am 5’4” and it is a true midi skirt on me, not short at all. I can upload a picture of it on me if that helps? I really have liked it but also have it in denim and don’t need both colors.
