Madewell The Perfect Vintage Jean (size 26)

I purchased these about 2 years? ago & it was my first Madewell purchase. I unfortunately packed on weight like it was my job & was never able to squeeze in to them. They are very rigid but reviews say that they do loosen up with wear, about a half size. I’m not 100% sure if these are meant to be ankle but the website says so. I searched specifically by item #. I’m 5’9” & the inseam is 27”, so they are definitely ankle length on me. You can see where I did rip off one tag in excitement, but the actual tag with barcode, etc is still on. Perfect condition, smoke free home…they’ve just been sitting in my “someday I’ll fit in to these” pile & I’ve now lost hope in that pile. The wash is called Claybrook, which isn’t a SUPER black, but more of a light, distressed black but there is no distressing or holes…they’re just a lighter black. I don’t know-I don’t have a Madewell near me so I’m not familiar with their products.
