High-rise denim shorts with raw hem, button fly, and a bit of stretch (99% cotton). I love these shorts, but they no longer fit me and the hem has unraveled a bit over the years such that they are shorter than my comfort zone 🥲 Well-loved but still in great shape! Notable signs of wear include fading, a couple of stretched-out pockets (I ironed them before taking these photos and they sprung back pretty well, but YMMV), and the aforementioned hemline shrinkage. I’ve trimmed the stringies in the past, but not recently. The fading looks pretty cool IMO — see photos for spots where a natural whisker formed over time. Please note that the tiny slits on the sides are original (see close-up photo that shows how they are reinforced). Crotch is in good shape. Close-up photos look much lighter than real life; cover shot is fairly accurate.
