In excellent condition! I just need a bigger size. These would fit a 26 for sure but I have a bigger waist. Washed a few times and air dried (so they are pretty crunchy). No stains, tears, rips, or pulling. There are some pills on the inside of the pocket like usual.
6 inch leg opening
9 inch rise
About 13 inches laid flat
26.25 inseam
Clean, smoke free home

Are these from the 2023 season? I tried some on back in the fall and was a 25. Is that the original inseam or did you hem them?

@loricho I bought these mid rise PVJs from the website in December 2022! I didn’t hem them. I find that when I actually measure the hems, they’re a little shorter than what the site says.

@vivikilli thank you. I will check their website for the current fabric content to see if it’s the same.

@loricho no problem! https://www.madewell.com/the-mid-rise-perfect-vintage-jean-in-knowland-wash-NG442.html looking at the site it’s the same code NG442 and fabric makeup. Always shorter (you can see all the other madewell jeans I have in my shop closet that are shorter than the listing too! Either I measure it weird or they’re measuring from a bigger size!)

@vivikilli would you be able to do a waist measurement photo and inseam of both pairs? Do both listings fit the same? Are they stretchy? Would you say these are tts for a 25 or they run big more like a 26. I’ve had such bad luck with my Poshmark jeans purchases:/ My MADEWELL kick out crops are 26 but I was a 25 in the fall 2023 MR PV.

@loricho oh my gosh I totally understand. I’ve bought like 20 pairs of jeans off Poshmark in the past 2 years. I just added two pictures to this listing! The distressed jeans (other listing) are barely shorter than these knowland wash ones. Both on top of each other appear to be the same waist (and rise).

@loricho I’d say the non distressed knowland wash ones are stretchier but it might also be because I air dried them? And then ainsworth distressed ones felt tighter at the waist on me. I felt like the knowland ones are stretchier.
I am super rectangular (like 27 inch waist 34 hips/bust) and the knowland ones could fit if I don’t eat a ton, vs the ainsworth ones I think I just haven’t worn them enough to let them stretch throughout the day. I hope that helps!

@loricho for madewell jeans, I’d say they run pretty true to size for madewell jeans but I’m a 26 or even 27 in Mother jeans, as a comparison. I have 26s in kick out crops in black and white! The white is a tad bit bigger at the waist on me which is surprising since usually my waist is bigger than most pants!

@vivikilli Thank you so much!! I will measure a bunch of my jeans and see where they fall. I’ve purged so many uncomfortable ones out of my closet recently!

@loricho one more comment! Haha oversharing. I just tried on these knowland wash ones and the waist actually fits fine on me, but I have a diff pair of perfect vintage jean in a similar wash I like better. My thighs are really big haha

@loricho me too! I’ve bought and sold so many jeans in the past couple years it’s embarrassing. These aren’t the stretchiest jeans but there is some give

@vivikilli I’m a 25-26 so that is probably in my favor if you’re a 26-27. I have 5 kick out crops in 26 and the denim stretch out too much and the black and brown are very uncomfortable:/ Jeans are so frustrating!

@loricho I know!!! At this point I’ve finally just sized up in madewell to 26 and usually it works for me. And I’ve realized super stretch is the only thing my body type can handle! And a random tip is that for super stretchy jeans (like with polyester or spandex or something) the waist measurement laid flat can be a lot smaller for me and they will still fit! How annoying that jeans and sizes aren’t consistent
