Maeve plaid yellow patterned skirt size 2

Chic velvet patterned skirt. Has a lining and is good for fall/winter. Meant to be knee-length or just above knee (I'm 5'3" so you can see where it falls on me) Like this skirt a lot but I bought a size or two too big and it doesn't sit on my waist as it should to look good. I also update the button to bronze instead of plastic so looks more sophisticated, see on the model picture. 98% cotton/ 2% spandex, measurements in picture.
