leslichandler @bookworm777 Hi! There isn't a defined waist. You could certainly add a belt but the material slides over your curves and with the pleats at the bottom I never felt like it needed one. It doesn't read as "boxy" on? I hope this helps! lol The measurements are: pit to pit 21" length-38"
