donation4cancer @bmontgomery1228 The length is about 50” - the bottom is scalloped so depending where- the measurement varies a couple inches, shoulder to bottom. the waist laid flat is approx 13-13.5 across.

donation4cancer @shoegirl6667 Hello, we check. Although don’t always do measurements. Dozens of times we retrieve items, unpack, measure, repack and provide answers to questions or measurements. 9 out of 10 people never bother to respond. We have made 2-3 sales to people asking questions. And sold hundreds of items to people just clicking and purchasing or sending offers. We do check when we have time, but not many sales are made that way so we don’t always prioritize. Sorry...hope this works for you!

Even though I am a sz 4, the measurements of this dress would not work for me & if purchased, I would be unhappy & some people might possibly give a low rating bc of that & then have to try to re-posh the item, which never makes anyone very happy.

shoegirl6667 With measurmnts descrption 2 begin wth,u might avoid havng 2 unpack&repack 2 answr a few questions.Unfortunately, people do need measurmnts, as theres no way 2 try on or return item if not a fit. Poshmark isn't 4 everyone. It's a lot of wrk, wth possibly no return.People will rarely buy smethng sight unseen(or tried on, as the case may be)or if theyre not familiar wth a designr.

I wanted to explain our experience has been if people like the item they purchase immediately or send an offer. We have sold several hundred items, 4.9 stars and only one return. Of the many times we have answered questions, those buyers almost never buy. We are busy running our store, it may be a couple days before we check comments, then often they are irrelevant by then

donation4cancer @shoegirl6667 We decided not to provide measurements in our original listings. Again, Time/reward, to pre-measure hundreds of items, when most items sell anyway and the time used may only lead to an extra sale or two. We can better use that time to list more items. Most buyers know their size or can easily google sizing information on the manufacturers site. We feel this-information is probably more accurate for a buyer than a person using a tape measure, which may not be accurate.
