Tired of clasps? Do you like to fidget? Enjoy changing up the style of your jewelry? Want to own a piece of design history? This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever encountered. As a metalsmith, I find this brilliant, I only wish this technology could be brought to sterling silver pieces! Obviously not for a house with small kids or pets that like to chew on things, but for someone with unique taste and creativity, that doesn’t like to struggle with clasps! You can even add to the design with any base, metal bobble or element! Never worn, I’ve only used it as a fidget piece a few times. Comes with original box and package insert as pictured. Purchased from the MOMA ~20 years ago. Designed by Terrence Kellerman. Patented design. Total length 9 3/4”. Pink, purple and red acrylic colors with nickel-plated rare earth magnets. Please note: nickel plated. Some people are allergic to the coating on non-precious metal jewelry. If you can wear the trendy jewelry from Kendra Scott, Alex and Ani, Pandora, Lucky etc, then this shouldn’t cause a problem.
