Majid Black Wicker Purse - Vintage 1960 - Vinyl Coated - Cultch or Top Carry

Black wicker purse by Majid with attached chain can be carried as a top handle bag or as a clutch with the chain discreetly tucked away inside it. Silver clasp and chain. Please note: This rare, hard to find brand is highly collectable and sought out by vintage aficionados! A Versatile Black Purse - also good for the Halloween Season I realized as I was looking at it in the photos with the black hand which is actually a display piece for showing rings! The purse is made of wicker that is plastic or vinyl coated for protection and the inside is lined in vinyl. There is one zipper closing pocket inside. Purse is in slightly used but in excellent condition. It is from the 1960s. It is clean and barely used by which I mean it looks like it would if you or I had owned it and worn it a time or two and taken excellent care of it. Purse measures 10" x 7" x 3" deep at the bottom sloping to 1" deep at the top. It is a very well made and adorable handbag. The Majid Label is no longer inside this particular bag, but I have carried several of these purses and know it is a Majid creation. I happen to love the Majid handbags from this era. They are really pretty and a very nice size - big enough to carry a few necessities and a cell phone, but not so large they dominate a look. A perfect proportion for a small framed woman. You could use this as an evening purse or a fashion handbag suitable for just about any occasion. It is truly special, beautiful and collectable
