Posh takes out way to much money from our sales! We are the ones who buy the boxes, tissue paper, put in the free gifts and then drive to the post office to drop off the package! It's just not fair! I believe we should take a stand on this!

oneinamillionjj Unfortunately that's why I have moved over to IRACREM (obviously spelled backwards) for the most part. I was bored 1 night so thought I'd list some stuff to see how it went & to my surprise I had lk 3 sales in a row! Now I will admit lowballing is horrible over there, but once you get over that .. Its actually pretty decent.

inkedprincess @oneinamillionjj I downloaded the app and looked at it. I can see what u mean about the lowballing 😖 who knows maybe if we spend the word and enough people share. Maybe posh will rethink there prices. I see they added a thing where they check if an item is real or not before you even get it.

futuremrsthomas @pinklady2009 I will admit though that trying to sell all my stuff at consignment shops for the last 5 years was a bust they are so stingy and snobby and take 65% of ur earnings....I also tried thredup and they took 95% of the earnings in a complete scam....posh has taken the least and I've sold items that were about to go in the trash after 5 yrs of no sales..also u shouldn't have to buy any boxes I go online to usps and they deliver as many free boxes as u want to ur house

pinklady2009 @futuremrsthomas whether you buy boxes or not they still take out to much money. If a item is marked $20 the buyer has to pay $24.99 and we are only getting $16. If course consignment shops take out more, they are the ones holding the stuff for you and basically making the sale for you. Here on posh WS are the ones making the sale, buying everything pretty for the package, keeping it on good condition, and the sailing it. Posh is not a consignment shop, they shouldn't be charging that much for shipping AND taking out that much percentage on the items we sale

shandy0907 that reason they are making a killing off of us. They have made the percentage that way be aide they know they can because people are still going to sell over here. I can sell an item $20 cheaper in other areas. I love posh and wish they changed it up just a little so I don't feel like I'm overcharging or being overcharged on an item.

shandy0907 I have seen people route people over to merc to sell their items cheaper over there and have been guilty muself. I like to help people out as much as possible but I can't do much on here without losing so much. I think people would stay over here and sell here more if percentages were taken down a little.

AND now the Purchasers will be incurring additional fees on their purchases, so they’ll be even MORE reluctant to buy: (1) Poshmark’s 2 Day Priority Ship Fee has gone up approx $0.50 AND now there is TAX on items such as makeup, jewelry, & ALL accessories: Basically on all non-essential items. So lately I’ve felt I’ve needed to lower my prices on those items even more so Buyers won’t be turned off. Definitely discouraging.

ginnybean22 Boxes are free at p.o. they also have free service that comes picks up packages at your door. get free bags to put your stuff in at p.o so you dont use tissue Posh doesn't obligate you to buy free gifts they also have a deal w post office that saves us like 1/2 on shipping...have you mailed anything lately not posh related? Plus they guarentee & insure your sales & purchases. They send taxes to state for us. 20% is less the 50-70% consignment stores take. Hope that helps you save $
